The App State Psychology Clinic is excited to offer some limited school counseling services in select local schools. All services are overseen by Dr. Jackie Hersh, a licensed psychologist. In clinical practice, Dr. Hersh is a generalist clinician (working with all ages and many mental health concerns) with a specialization in child clinical psychology. Her PhD in clinical psychology from Duke University and pre-doctoral internship at NYU/Bellevue Hospital Center were completed in child track specializations and her postdoctoral work at Harvard University was focused on treatments for youth mental health concerns (including as a MATCH-ADTC trainer and consultant/supervisor). We're able to offer school counseling services for a multitude of concerns, including (but not limited to) the below:

- Social & Performance Anxiety
- Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

- School refusal or school avoidance
